授業概要

The objective of this subject is to equip civil engineering students with sufficient knowledge on steel structures, regarding fracture mechanics. This subject provides students with fundamental structural mechanics knowledge in designing structural steel components and bridges, and fractural control design concepts.

Understand and apply structural mechanics to the design of steel structures. Understand the state of the art in current research and practice in steel bridges. Understand the stress analysis and crack propagation analysis.
